Camps to communities
ORG contributed to a report developed by RAND in which spatial analysis and urban planning were applied to explore post-war reconstruction models for Gaza.
The study, titled From Camps to Communities, examines how interim shelter strategies — including neighborhood-based rebuilding approaches and future-oriented camp models — could improve short-term living conditions while supporting long-term recovery and stability. The report integrates lessons from global post-conflict reconstruction with spatial analysis of damage, displacement, and infrastructure needs in Gaza.
