Coastal Vision in De Standaard

De Standaard has published the first of a three part Coastal Protection Series, "A gigantic 'sandbag' to hold back the rising sea."

Together with our partners at IMDC, Arcadis and collaborators An Luyten, Connect, Common Ground, Econopolis and LDR Site Services we are happy and proud to have delivered the basic vision and consensus to the Flemish government.

Nature-based solutions like dune creation will be key in long-term protection for Flanders, a country that was made by ingenuity of people to begin with, as it was largely conquered from the medieval North Sea.We look forward to the reading the upcoming sections on the coast from De Standaard.
